Board of Trustees
SEPaST is governed by a Board of Trustees comprised of one trustee appointed by each eligible member entity. The Board of Trustees meets six times annually. For the 2017/2018 school year, the Board of Trustees will meet on the following dates/times:
- Tuesday, September 19, 2017 – 3pm
- Tuesday, November 14, 2017 – 3pm
- Tuesday, January 16, 2018 – 3pm
- Tuesday, March 13, 2018 – 3pm
- Tuesday, May 15, 2018 – 3pm
- Tuesday, June 12, 2018 – 3pm
Additional meetings may be scheduled as necessary.
SEPaST is managed by a nine member Executive Committee elected by the Board of Trustees. The Executive Committee serves in the periods between the regular meetings of the Trustees, for the purpose of continuous oversight and supervision of the affairs of the Trust.
Of the nine (9) Executive Committee members, at least one member is a Superintendent and at least two (2) members are Labor representatives.
The SEPaST Benefits Committee meets three times per year for the purpose of providing educational opportunities on employee benefit related matters and providing guidance as to the benefit related initiatives of the Trust.
The Benefits Committee membership is open to Labor and Management representatives from each member entity.
The SEPaST Finance Committee serves to review and provide guidance on the financial related matters of the Trust.
The Finance Committee meets periodically as needed for the efficient operation of the Trust.
The SEPaST Policy Committee serves to develop the policies and administrative guidelines for the effective operation of the Trust.
The Policy Committee meets periodically as needed to meet the needs of the Trust.
